Ingredients:
- 2 parts gin
- 1 part cointreau
- 1 part lemon juice
Instructions:
Shake with ice, strain into glass and garnish with a slice of lemon or orange.
This is similar in taste to the Maiden’s Blush but less sweet. Very nice though, this is something I’d make again.

Im impressed by the lemon skin twist. Just out of curiosity what puts you in the mood to try out a cocktail.

To be honest, I’m not really sure what puts me in the mood. I frequently have a cocktail with dinner the way some people have a glass of wine. I usually make one of my favourite drinks, depending on what I feel like. Sometimes I just feel like something different. And sometimes I just come across recipes and wonder what they taste like.
I quite often will make several different cocktails in one night (sometimes for other people) and take a photo and then post them here over the next week or so.
